Adisadel college wins inter-schools soccer competition

Cape Coast Nov.4, GNA- Adisadel College played an impressive game to beat Commercial Service Institute (CSI) 2-0 in their 'Zone One' inter schools and colleges soccer league match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Monday.

Kicking off under the instruction of Cape Coast based referee Essel Walker, the Adisadel boys, dominated the first half and outclassed CSI in all departments of the game.

They kept their opponents' vital area boiling bombarding their goal area with shots from all angles forcing keeper Francis Eshun in the opponent's post to wok overtime to save the situation.

The Adisadel boys, never looked back on resumption and launched a series of attacks on the CSI boys, and in the process earned a free kick from which inside right, Edukor Awuley scored the opener in the 55th minute.

Their opponents, came into the picture from the 80th minute, but their hopes of forcing a draw were shattered when inside right Rahim Ayew mounted Adisadel's tally to 2-0 in a solo effort in the 85th minute.

The two sides, nearly broke into a free for all fight when the whistle went for the end of the game, but this was prevented by the timely intervention of their tutors.
