Hearts of Oak must score at least four unanswered goals to stand a chance against Esperance in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup playoffs.

And the club’s gaffer, Herbert Addo, knows how to do that - his team must be clinical in front of goal. He is currently not too happy a man despite securing two wins in Cup games on his return from the 4-0 drubbing of his side in Tunis a fortnight ago.

The Phobians have managed to score in four games against lower tier sides, Afienya City and Elmina Sharks, in over four days in the MTN FA and Elite Cup competitions respectively.

”I’m not happy with our conversion rate because we had some good chances and we failed to take it,” Addo told reporters after his side’s 3-0 win over Elmina Sharks in the Elite Cup.

Hearts continue their preparations towards hosting Esperance next weekend and are set to play Tamale Utrecht Academy in the quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup at the Tema Stadium this Sunday. And coach Addo wants to see more goals.

”We scored three out of five chances. May be we will score four on Sunday and then may be five goals against Esperance (next week),” the experienced trainer wished.

Hearts of Oak who must score five goals without reply in order to eliminate Esperance, say they have moved their Caf Confederation Cup home clash with the Tunisian giants to Saturday, June 6 upon ‘advice’ from some quarters.
