Adam Kwarasey not called up for Senegal and Mali friendlies

Ghana Coach Avram Grant has not called up goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey for the Black Stars for the double header against Senegal and Mali, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively confirm.

Reports in the media on Wednesday had hinted that the Norway born shot-stopper has been invited for the test matches on March 28 and 31 respectively in France.

Kwarasey is yet to resolve his problems with Black Stars goalkeeper’s trainer Nasamu Yakubu that has kept him from rescinding his decision not to return to the senior national side.

The Portland Timbers glovesman has not been in post for Ghana since he was given a starting role for the Black Stars against the USA at the 2014 World Cup.

Meanwhile, defender Al Shabab FC defender Awal Mohammed is the only player in Ghana’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations squad, who is not part of the 27-man list for the warm-up matches.

Below are the players called up for the doubleheader:

Goalkeepers: Razak Brimah, Fatau Dauda, Ernest Sowah
