Accorsi leads Eulma for crucial Kotoko clash

Algerian side, MC El Eulma, have re-appointed French coach Jules Accorsi to help overturn the fortunes of the club ahead of this weekend’s trip to Ghana.

Eulma have had a poor season this term and currently occupy the relegation places – 15th with 27 points on the Algerian Ligue 1 table.

They face Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko in a Caf Champions League 1/16th round return leg in Kumasi on Sunday and have the arduous task of defeating their hosts or recording a score draw to move into the 1/8th finals.

Accorsi, 78, led MC El Eulma during the latter part of last season to fourth position – a feat which earned them a ticket to their maiden Caf Champions League outing.

He has succeeded Azzedine Ait Djoudi and becomes the third coach this season.

Eulma are expected to arrive in Ghana on Friday ahead of their Champions League clash with Kotoko at 3pm GMT on April 5.
