Abou-Treika, Fathi boost our chances against Chelsea - Ahly coach

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry admitted his side will have a tough task against Berekum Chelsea in the CAF Champions League group stage next Sunday but reiterated his confidence in the ability of his players to secure a last-four berth, in a statement Friday.
“It will be a difficult game. The group is very complicated due to the current situation. Each of the teams is looking forward to winning the remaining games and this makes every match very difficult,” he told the CAF official website.
The six-time African champions are leading group B after three straight victories, five points ahead of TP Mazembe and Berekum Chelsea, and need just a single point out of their next three games to secure their way to the semis.
In his task El-Badry will have a huge boost as inspirational playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika and energetic right-back Ahmed Fathi are back in the team.
“Our key players, who were with the Egyptian team at the London 2012 Olympic Games, are available for this game and it’s a big boost to our chances. Their presence can have an impact on our chances. We are ready for the challenge,” he added.
Ahly managed a blistering display against the Ghanaian champions 4-1 two weeks ago in Cairo but in this away mission. experience is much needed.
However striker Emad Meteb, who was also on international duty during the Olympics, is set to miss this game due to injury alongside with experienced defender Wael Gomaa and dynamic midfielder Hossam Ashour both suspended from this game.
