Abeiku Ainoonson has confirmed he will return to Asante Kotoko after the termination of his loan deal at Al Hilal, insisting the Porcupines made him the 'good' player he is today.

Ainoonson despite giving a good account of himself in Sudan had his contract terminated because Al Hilal failed to reach CAF champions League Group stage.

However, Ainoonson is set to return to Kotoko as he is still contracted to them.

The defender claims he opted for a loan spell because of the love for Kotoko and also wanted the club to earn some money from his move.

"I have a contract with Kotoko which runs till the end of the season. I have stated on several platforms that I will never leave Kotoko without the club as a free agent," he told WestGold Radio in Takoradi.

"I believe the club made me who I am today so they have to earn something out of my departure.

"You even tell my loan deal brought a good amount to them, that they used to acquired players during the off season. And I feel proud about it."
