Abedi Pele Ready For FA Post?

Reports monitored by Joy Fm from a French News Agency, AFP in Abidjan has revealed that Ghanaian football legend, Abedi Ayew Pele may be nominated to head the Ghana Football Association, GFA.

The one time international star, said his interest to head the Ghana Football Association is based on a request by President Kufour.

He explained that President Kufour has asked him to take keen interest in running football in this country and would therefore like to put him in charge of the Football Association. He said he is ready to accept the challenge.

Under the FA’s regulations, the government is expected to nominate two candidates one of whom must be approved by the executive council of the Ghana Football Association to become the head.
