AYC Final: Ghana U-20 v Cameroon U-20

Cameroon will have to stop Ghana's Ransford Osei if they are to win the African Youth Championships on Sunday.

The Maccabi Haifa striker has found the back of the net five times in the tournament and will be the man to watch in the final at the Amahoro stadium in Kigali.

Osei scored a brace in the 4-3 win over South Africa in midweek.

Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh was unhappy to see his charges squander a 4-1 lead, but he told PeaceFM that he expects the youngsters to learn from the semi-final.

"t doesn't look so good that you would be 4-1 in the lead and allow your opponent to come close to 4-3," the former Black Stars caretaker explained.

"That is football. When it happens, we learn from it, correct our mistakes then we push forward again."

Cameroon shocked Nigeria 2-0 in the other semi (Jacques Zoua and Germain Messina scored the goals) to set up a clash with their West African neighbours.

Junior Lions boss Alain Wabo is confident that his team can defeat the fancied Ghanaians.

"They (Ghana) play like Nigeria and we know how to deal with those tactics," he told Ghana Live News.

Nigeria and South Africa square off in the third-placed play-off on Saturday.
