AWOL Michael Osei Scores For Busan Icons

Asante Kotoko AWOL striker, Michael Osei helped South Korean giants Busan Icons to win a prestigious four club friendly in South Korea this weekend. The speedster scored a vital equalizer for Busan icons in a match against Shanghai Zhonguan.

Though Busan lost the match 2-1, Osei?s goal enabled them to win the four-club league tourney on goal difference. Michael Osei is currently at the center of a transfer row at Asante Kotoko.

The player allegedly left Ghana without permission from his club and was declared a persona non-grata by the erstwhile Herbert Mensah management board of the club.

Currently the Korean club claims that Michael Osei is out of contract with Asante Kotoko but the Ghana football Association has refuted that and has rather suggested that the Busan Icons formally request an ITC for Osei.

The Ghana football Association has also informed the World soccer governing body FIFA about any possible breach of the regulations governing transfers by the South Korean club.
