AAG: Black Princesses to play for Bronze

South Africa's Banyana Banyana wacked Ghana’s Black Princesses 2-0 in the semi-finals of the female football event at the 9th All Africa Games in Algiers yesterday.

The match was fairly balanced until Veronica Phewa scored on the hour mark and then just 2 minutes later Simphiwe Dludlu secured the win for South Africa.

Nigeria’s Super Falcon also breezed into the final with a commanding 5-0 victory over the Algerian soccer team.

The gold medal match between Nigeria and South Africa will be played on Sunday while Algeria and Ghana will play for the bronze medal on Saturday.

The Falcons won the gold during the last Games in Abuja in 2003.
