21 Meteors invited

A Twenty-one-member squad of the national Under-23 soccer team, the Black Meteors, has been invited for campimg in Accra.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the FA, Mr Kofi Nsiah, named the players as: George Owu (Kotoko), Owusu Banahene (Liberty Professionals), Felix Yeboah (Hasaacas), Emmanuel Pappoe, Mustapha Essuman (both of Liberty) Lukeman Imoro (Real Sportive) and Edward Sosu of Power FC.

Others include Bernard Don Bortey(pictured) and Charles Taylor (Hearts), Abdul Mutalim (Hasaacas), Stephen Oduro and Michael Osei (Kotoko), Paa Joe Kuma (Olympics), Alfred Nii Larbi (Liberty) and Baba Yara (Okwawu United).

The statement which requested the players to report at the GFA Secretariat today (Friday), named the rest of the team as Delight (Hearts of Lions, Mohammed Polo (Dawu Youngsters) Iddrisu Yahaya (King Faisal) Frank Osei (Kotoko) Jonathan Quartey (Liberty Professionals), Michael Asante Olympics.
