2017 AFCON Qualifier: Adu Kofi replaces Badu

Malmo FF midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has been penciled by Black Stars coach Avram Grant, as a replacement for injured enforcer Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, Sportscrusader.com has gathered

The 24-year-old Udinese midfielder was forced subbed off with an ankle injury in his side’s 1-0 Serie A win over Juventus last Sunday.

Grant looks to the Sweden-based midfielder to replace Badu in Ghana’s squad to face Rwanda in the AFCON 2017 qualifier in Kigali on Saturday.

Adu Kofi, who plies his trade with Malmo FF, has not been invited to the Black Stars since his inclusion in the national team provisional squad for the AFCON 2015.
