The problem start with leaders of the churches. They demand too much out of their members. If you don't give much you will hold no positions in church. These pastors claims to see things well beyond the future. They can't tell me they don't know their members in executive positions are corrupt. They in fact encourage corruption. Hence the demand on corrupt members to contribute more.

Thank God that pastors of good standing are coming hard at the christain fraternity.I am a christain, but overtime i have quetioned our hipocracy. The main religion in Ghana is christainity. When we are filling any document that request for religious identity, the religion that dominates is christaininty so i ask myself why is it that we are not exposing the evils in society as our yes should be yes and our no should be no.Now i can see pastors coming out boldly to fight the menace of corruption which if not checked will cause a lot of the downtrodden to rebel.Look, the bible has indicated that the rich and the poor we will always have but that does not mean we should outsmart the poor.

This admission from this priest is simply a hypocritical confidence mechanism ploy to distance Christianity, the Clergy and the Church from the criminal actions of the religious people who are in charge of the state institutions in Ghana, simply because their crimes and lawlessness have hit the ceiling and things are falling apart.
Did this man descend from Mars yesterday to discover that Christians are responsible for signing bad contracts and open defecation everywhere? Why even single only Christians out? What about Muslims, equally liable as hell?
All the religious bodies, both Christian and Islamic, have been briefed thoroughly about the bad oil contracts both the NPP and NDC had signed. Have they done anything about that? Noooo! Only the Chief Imam of Tema and another Pastor from Tema have been moved enough to take on the challenge to help in effecting a change in the obnoxious contracts that the Mahama regime has enshrined in ACT 919. They could have named it Act 419 so that those who don't know it, know that it is all a scam by the Christan and Muslim "thieves and thiefettes" misruling Ghana.
Christian morality is a colossal sham and failure over the ages and so it is in Africa too, where we see the most depraved acts such as the trans-Atlantic and Saharan Slave Trades and colonisation and mass killings in the name of Christianity and Islam.

What a duplicity! Have u forgotten the act of the people who hanged on ur neck the same religion whose followers u re refering. They preached to u to keep ur treasure in heaven n seek the kingdom of heaven n its righteousness. But they ended up raking the material blessing we should have possessed. They sored a seed of dishonesty n robbery and we are bearing the full repercussion.

Very good analysis @ Andy-K, u are a wise man. Very poor analysis by Agbesi kwesi, u are a religious bygot, tribal war head and uncouth. Why do u have to mention names of Muslims when the church is admonishing its members? Leave the Muslims for the chief imam and other imams to also admonish. Do u expect the church leadership to leave its members and start going after members of other faiths? Or by mentioning names of Muslims do u expect Muslims to start mentioning names of corrupt Christians in high government offices. Ghana is undoubtedly a Christian majority country so u cannot run away from that fact, and u cannot claim to know Christians better than the pastors. President mahama packed his government with about 80%Christians and president Akufo has repeated same by packing his with about 95% Christians. So do u expect the minority to be blamed while the majority has its field day? Of course Muslims cannot be left out since some of them have also been cited for corruption but to expect the church to leave its members out and go for others will amount to religious persecution @ Agbesi kwesi. Learn to free yourself from religious bigotry against Muslims, for some of ur friends are Muslims since u are a Ghanaian; free advice.
