These ecclesiastical Titles are earned for service rendered in the Clergy Profession. Yet, we have been treated to a period of folks claiming them for themselves.
Then, they have their names popularized by paid, or lazy Journalists who don't have much of any good stories to write about.
Any crooked broke can now set up his or her Church, and call himself of herself a 'Bishop'. We are making the Lord too cheap. The Title 'Bishop' is not even shared ecumenically among all the Churches. So, what defines a 'Bishop'?
These many Bishops in Ghana better fit the avian definition of the word, and might be better off doning those colors of the Bird with similar name in Africa...Orange, red, yellow and black. In that case, we may able to distinguish them from the well-deserving 'Bishops' who have earned the Title.
