When Hanna went into the Temple to pray, the high priest was sitting there but she did not ask him for prayers, instead she prayed for herself till the priest thought she was drunk. It is the lazy ones who always want someone to pray fro them. Though we have the choice to ask for a friend's help in prayers but not to rely on a priest for miracles. The media is partly to blame for giving too much prominence to these so called men of God and the thrash they spew on national media.At least someone seems to see the insanity phenomenon called "worship" plaguing our society. It is very common in this country to see someone by the side of the road rush hour, making so much noise in the name of preaching yet one can see they are physically not well themselves. The scenario in most " pulpits" is even worse.It is very sad indeed.How "establishing a church" became the most lucrative business in Ghana from the mid 80's is mind blowing, prying on the ignorance of the illiterate, majority of these "men of God" being illiterate themselves... the irony!
