I remember in the middle to late nineties when political tensions was tearing the country into camps,things were further exacerbated by loud Muslim and Christian street preachers who competed by slinging provocative "preaching"and downright insults at each other.At certain instances police had to step in to restore calm.The Asantehene took lead and cautioned that any person(s) found insulting or provoking others will have to answer to him.Many around the country(including ghanaweb)ridiculed him and claimed he was trying to ban religion from his domain.Well,he followed up with private meetings with the Imams and Christian leaders.It takes a great leader with foresight to restore sanity and peace to his domain and we are blessed with such a leader.
