There can never be peace without justice. I still maintain that the cost of properties destroyed must be paid for and the imam who lead the prayers that Friday and the leaders of that mosque who incited their youth against the church must be arrested and prosecuted. The chief of the town must also face prosecution.
The only one that needs commendation for keeping the peace is the SDA church and not the leadership of both factions.

I congratulate the minister for restoring peace between the two groups. But I would suggest that anytime such misunderstanding occurs again those who take the laws into their own hands and burn down properties should be delt with according to the laws of the land.
There is freedome of worship in the country, but there is no freedom of violence in the name of religion.Ghana is for all the people of not for any religion.
Why should we have no national holidays for our traditional African religions instead of having it for these two foreign religions who now think they can use their previlege to distroy the peace of our people.
With our struggling economy I think it not worth giving fincial support to these two religions epecially in the area of prigimage, promoting tourism in Israel and Saudi Arabia while our own tourism industy is on the brink of extinction. It does not just make sense in any respect.
If we want this nation to develop in peace, we should allow no one religion to ask for any special dressin in and the rest. Children and the youth of Ghana must grow up with a definate single identity not one modified by Islam. Our schools like the armed forces the police and others are state institutions and should have homogeneous uniforms for the national identity to be strong and preserved, no ifs and buts.
Those who cannot live in Ghana as Ghanaians should go to Israel or Saudi Arabia, where women are not even allowed to drive. This is Ghana, a sub-Saharan tropical country with perenial torpid heat and we should contiue with the way we wear our school uniforms for good health and convenience.
