Welcome Right Rev Agidi, I hope you will be a listening Moderator and work closely with the Youth in the Church. My humble appeal to you is to clearly set the church on the path of self discovery- by identifying what are the core values of presbyterianism or what it mean to be a member of the reform Church.
The Church must focus on teaching Theology to members instead of preaching.....Heresy and false teaching is crippling into the pulpit in the Church. It must be stop!!!!
Secondly, stop all the unnecessary projects such as building schools and hospitals, the church cannot replace the govt, we must focus on building citizens that have a sense of common good. I wish you God's guidance and wisdom during your tenure.

To bring the church in line with civilised developments.
With the number of gay congregants growing the church should start recruiting some gay priests for those special gay people.

Thanks for your comment. The youth in the E.P Church trully are the power base of every church including the E.P Church hence, its policy, must be very dear to all of us. I hope the new Moderator will come out with better ideas and with our help, move the E.P Church to greater heights, physically and spiritually. The E.P Church must be heard and seen on tv preaching. I think former Moderator Rev. Dr. L.K. Buamah can handle this programme, if initiated. (My opinion.) There are pastors who preach nothing, but politics. The Moderator must be firm with Pastors who refuse posting to new stations. Afterall, JESUS showed the way. "Send me. I will go" He said. As for projects which you called unnecessary, I beg to differ. The government's call on churches to help is good. I agree with the churches to build schools, hospitals, chapels, if they have the resources. Over to you Rev. Dr Agidi. May the power of JESUS strengthens you.

What you've said is rightly the right statement to say, however, what we need now in Ghana, is moral up-liftment of the social values. our moral values have gone down. Let your priests go out into the streets and preach to the people their social values. Jesus Christ never preached in a church. He was all the time in the streets, talking about moral values in metaphors. Ghana is declining in its moral values. The moral ethics of the youth is declining. Act up!
