The WORD of God is not debatable, and the opinion of God is finite, and not open to negotiations.
In the book of Revelation we are warned to come out of Babylon the Great and her daughters. The daughters are also spiritual groups that have been given birth to by Babylon the Great.
Babylon the Great is a world empire of false religions, or beliefs that are not in sacrosanct with Scriptures.
However, it is the responsibility of the individual to identify Babylon the Great and come of it, else we share in her sins.
Knowledge is important, and it is the knowledge of God that can set one free.
I have always pointed to living Churches when it comes to witnessing to people. Yes, there are real living , spirit filled Churches.
And make sure you are properly BAPTIZED(by immersion), because on that day it is not about what your leader said, it is about what God says in his WORD. That is why you always have to double check things whether it is of God or not.
And for people who desire to please God and at the same time remain in an environment where the teachings are not in harmony with Scriptures, it is important to note that these cannot go hand in hand. They are mutually exclusive.

Many years ago a homosexual who was dying of Cancer was brought to a hospital where I was working. This patient was in extremely bad shape--falling apart. He had only one visitor who visited with him daily until he died.
I am sure the patient in this scenario had family members and friends, but everyone gave him up, except his significant other. Believe me the latter puts a lot of us so- called Christians to shame!
I am afraid a lot of us may need to come off our high horses and face the reality of the living!
