If we can protect ourselves from the disease or several of our diseases by being clean, then that is what we do first instead of deliberately testing God and attracting the disease and waiting for God to heal us. This is simply preventative medicine or what you guys term as "prevention is better than cure". After all, cleanliness is next to Godliness.

There was no sickness that Jesus Christ could not heal, and there is no sickness that our Lord cannot heal.
First, and foremost sickness and diseases has come about because of the fall of Adam. Longevity(life span) of mankind fell, after the flood.
The wages of the original sin manifests itself into sickness and diseases, and hence death. However, practicing sin has a way of accelerating death, all things being equal. It is this practicing sin that the Scriptures warns us to guard ourselves against.
Healthiness depends on what we regularly do, the environment in which we live and the food(dieting) that we eat.
Social and Psycho sociological factors come into play when we talk about the quality of life, since an apparent absence of sickness and diseases does not mean a person is healthy.
Factors beyond our control also may contribute to speedy termination of life, such as accidents, wars and outbreak of diseases such as Ebola, from no where.
When it comes to sicknesses and diseases, a lot has to do with ignorance and negligence. Negligence in the area of not keeping oneself cleaning and the environment. Ignorance in the area of not knowing the cause(s) of a particular sickness, let alone developing medicines for them.
In Leviticus and Deuteronomy, one of the animals forbidden is the BAT. There are still more forbidden creatures in the list, and this is where we may be missing the mark which is sin, though in ignorance.
Christ, of course heals, if he wills and can use his Faithful servants to heal. We are being challenged to be upbeat in our cleanliness, as a result of the situation at hand. When Jesus Christ heals, he cautions us not to sin any more, and this includes missing the mark when it comes to so many things. In other words one has the responsibility to maintain his or hear healing or deliverance. And you often do not ascribe significance to what you have until you lose it.
God is now giving us the knowledge and wisdom to contain the situation, and even develop medicines for them, but more importantly, that we may take the necessary precaution to guard ourselves against this predicament, with the hope of gaining enough understanding to the effect of developing drugs to contain the situation. Prevention is better than to cure.
God is at work, and we are to continue working in harmony with him, for true Science is in harmony with the Scriptures, to God be the Glory. And when the sickness has become a curse also, it can be handled, just like any other difficult situation, by the grace and power of God. The manner you receive your healing is very important, hence, for now, it
is very instructive to be obedient to what the health authorities are advising, which is in harmony with what the Prophet has recommended!
Let me point out that the blood of Jesus Christ has reconciled things in heaven and on health, and the door to Salvation is open to all humanity.
In these last days, wars, pestilence, hunger earthquakes, lovers of self more than God etc shall be the signs of the end. Jesus Christ said, when these things are happening we are to look up(steadfast and fix our thoughts and mind on Christ), for our Salvation is near.
May the Lord help us and grant us mercies and grace, that we may remain clean before him on the day which is to come.

These laws for instance tell you that killing another human being is not right. If out of malice you take another person's life because you consciously erred, would you blame anyone else or yourself? This is to say that your conscience or lack of it gets you to behave and act the way you do.
With a cool head we can explain a lot of phenomenons. Trust your ability to think and you will see no devil in your surrounding.

When the snakes bite the disobedient Israelites on the wilderness, moses was instructed to put a something up in the dorm of a point of contact for God to bring healing to them. God always use a point of contact for his miracle power to operate effectively through men. Laying on of hands is one of them but Ebola infection, with laying on of hands , the one praying himself will be ibfectd.
