I would recommend Questioning Islam by Peter Townsend for a well researched understanding of how Islam originated and the difficulties in the Qur'an.

I live in London and I have Live in NY for one Year the number of people who searching for answers regarding their religion and did not find any answers but found the answers in islam and converted to Islam is unimaginable. In UK over 500,00 and over 600,00 convert to islam. We all saw what they said about Muamar Ghadafi and now we all see what is happening in Libya. They'll put anything on the news just to make them look good or be on the right side. I don't support the head cutting, it is unislamic but these group of people are the same people being created by the Americans and the British. Like the Taliban, Alkaeda and many more. I am sure it is not the Muslims who wiped out 5 million native american indians, aborigines, the worse crime of Hiroshima and Nagasaka. When atomic bomb killed dozens of men, women children. In a very hot combustion. But how many times have you seen news talking about these crimes on TV. When a Christian dress Spiderman goes to the cinema and kill dozens of people they call him insane. If a muslim kill one or two people he is a terrorist. Have you forgot the Kun klax Klan burning Black Americans as not a good Christians but they are the real Christians because God is what?

As misunderstood in some scripture. He knows best, for with a single word "Be", all structures would have been in place faster than the blink of the eye, but, He know best.
