    Correction:
    2. Dr Tawia, I would like to say the certification should be issued once. There should rather be ongoing compulsory Continuous Professional Development (CPD) at regular intervals for all registered teachers.

    It is not true that all teachers in Ghana are certified. In my village and many of the villages around it most of the teacher are ''pupil teachers''=untrained teachers!
