His daughter-in-law nakedness turned Mohammed on and had sex with her. Mohammed followers deserted him on the grounds that his behavior is not moral at all. Mohammed convinced his followers that god has given him revelation that Muslims can marry their adopted son's wife. That was the end of the case and Mohammed wrote his own failures into Quranic verses for Muslims. How scientific is this?

He married a nine year old girl. Fine. It is good you said married. Now when is a woman SCIENTIFICALLY prepared agreed as mature?. It is when she starts to have her monthly period. A womans maturity for marriage is something else and a womans maturity stipulated by each countries laws is something else. Once a woman starts her Monthly period, she is considered a woman scientifically. This age varies from person to person and environment to environment. So so long as marriage is concerned NOBODY can deprive a woman of marriage of she reaches puberty if she wants to. In Brazil, Cuba, Nicaragua, you can vote at 16 in US, Ghana and Nigeria (blind imitators) you can vote at 18. Who fixed that?. In Brazil, Cuba, Nicaragua you are matured at 16. Whenever he sent his angel to Muhammad, all the miracles he could give Muhammad were polished but silly poetic verses that don't stand the test of time. When his Allah realized that those verses wouldn't take Muhammad anywhere because the rest of the world don't speak Arabic to appreciate its so-called poetic beauty in order to be converted, he gave Muhammad the sword from which we have been suffering up to now. The sword, ironically, was nicknamed the "peaceful sword." The sword crisscrossed the whole world converting people or shedding their blood as we see happening even today. There may be three kinds of Muslims: those who can't read at all and genuinely want God but think God can be found anywhere outside idol worshiping. This group may well be captivated by what they see to be personal advantages like dominion over women. Their women have no choices and those of them who convert during marriage are initially disheartened but with time, surrender since they "cannot beat them." Those who are Muslims from childhood don't have much trouble though they have little say in who is given to them to marry. Another benefit people of this group may see is: the culture of cheap burial. No personal casket is required in Islamic burial. Because of this fact, when Islam came to this particular town, all the poor people rushed to convert to Islam with their aged parents and grand parents. None of them knew exactly what they were doing except that they wanted God, and they wanted cheap burial.
The second group can read and know who Muhammad is. They hold the hope that he is dependable in spite of his worldly shortcomings. They don't want to look too deep. They simply want to remain as humble as it's humanly possible as they look up to God (not really Muhammad's Allah).
The third group is the one who can read the Koran and is prepared to go by everything it says, no matter how beastly it may be. They're the ones that can commit the 9-11, all nineteen of them without as much one blinking and opting out - all to give their lives for the dastardly cause, killing thousands of innocent people, pursuant to the mission of Muhammad's sword: the sword of PEACE.
This particular group includes those who will commit the Boston bombing, the various attacks in London and elsewhere in Europe; the suicide bombings all over the world, and mainly in their own lands. To them, killing is like "proverbs with which words are eaten" (Chinua Achebe). They are those who will sentence a pregnant woman to 100 lashes and then to be hanged later for marrying a Christian. They are those who will call themselves Boko Haram, Al Shabab, Al Quaida, Taliban etc. How will a cautious person be able to dismiss these signs and not worry about the camp s/he shares with these groups - the Islamic camp?. Is God's kingdom equally for careless and careful people? Islam will tell you, "Don't worry, just believe that Muhammad is a prophet and it's enough." With the bar so low, Muslims are not circumspect. In fact, they care more about going along with Muhammad than thinking about pleasing God or seeking the will of God - unless their God is a cruel destructive God or Allah.
When Allah gave Muhammad the sword he gave him many women too, child-women and adult-women, including women whose husband had died from the battlefield. What a "spiritual" bonus Muhammad reaped! And there are even many more waiting for him in his Allah's kingdom...How many, they say, seventy?A marriage spree!

Syllogism and epistemology are virtually absent in the Koran. Observe:

And he followed a road; Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness. (Qur'an 18:85-86)
This is a major scientific blunder in the Qur'an. A man walked until he reached the setting place of the sun, and saw it setting in a muddy spring. Modern science has taught us that the earth revolves around the sun. The above excerpt from the Qur'an seems to state that it is the sun that moves, as well as sets on earth! If the sun were to touch the surface of the earth, everything would be incinerated, and all life would die.
Then there is the blood cupping (hijama) which is obsolete science!

I am mentioning all these Islamic countries, and what is envious about these Islamic countries that has created enemies for Islam? Look at Egypt, Mali, Norther Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Algeria. The Islamic jihadists load themselves with bombs and kill their own people. It does not simply mean that the sun was setting in a muddy spring but a discription of how percied the setting of the sun. Qur,aan is a book that must be studied even for we Muslims - Alhamdulillah. To be able to critices the Qur'aan even as a Christian, I advise you to books from notavle scholars on Qur'aanic exegesis or Tafseer in Arabic, and I'll recommend Ibn Katheer. If you find it too expensive you can sit with scholars when you have doubts and these are both advised by Allah in The Qur'aan when Allah command "iqra" or read, and "Do as the people of knowledge if you do not know" On the other hand there are qur'aan copies with commentary and if you are interested we can send you a copy of one of the best. The knowledge of the expanding characteristics of the Universe has been in the Scriptures, several hundreds of years BC, and apparently a knowledge of it had spread far and wide, especially, among people who were constantly in dealings with the Jews, and quite familiar with Jewish Scriptures.
Therefore, no amount of Scientific discoveries, past and future, compares to discovering that God has given us Life and that Life is in Christ.
Curiosity about the universe has intrigued many since time memorial, and a familiarity of the Jewish scriptures such as the book of Numbers(a star will rise up out of Jacob) provoked the 3 wise men to follow the star to Bethlehem. Let us remind ourselves that the wise men were from the nations where the Jews, in general and the Prophet Daniel, in particular, had left a legacy about the True God through the knowledge of the Scriptures.
Once again, the Bible is not a scientific book, yet it unerringly touches on many disciplines including Astronomy or Physics.

The first direct scientific evidence for a big bang universe dates back to 1916. That is when Albert Einstein noted that his field equations of general relativity predicted an expanding universe.
Unwilling to accept the cosmic beginning implied by such expansion, Einstein altered his theory to conform with the common wisdom of his day, namely an eternally existing universe.
All these scientists, however, were upstaged by 2500 years and more by Job, Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and other Bible authors. The Bible’s prophets and apostles stated explicitly and repeatedly the two most fundamental properties of the big bang, a transcendent cosmic beginning a finite time period ago and a universe undergoing a general, continual expansion. In Isaiah 42:5 both properties were declared, “This is what the Lord says—He who created the heavens and stretched them out.”
The Hebrew verb translated “created” in Isaiah 42:5 is bara’ which has as its primary definition “bringing into existence something new, something that did not exist before.”7 The proclamation that God created (bara’) the entirety of the heavens is stated seven times in the Old Testament. (Genesis 1:1; 2:3; 2:4; Psalm 148:5; Isaiah 40:26; 42:5; 45:18). This principle of transcendent creation is made more explicit by passages like Hebrews 11:3 which states that the universe that we humans can measure and detect was made out of that which we cannot measure or detect. Also, Isaiah 45:5-22; John 1:3; and Colossians 1:15-17 stipulate that God alone is the agent for the universe’s existence. Biblical claims that God predated the universe and was actively involved in causing certain effects before the existence of the universe is not only found in Colossians 1 but also in Proverbs 8:22-31; John 17:24; Ephesians 1:4; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 1:2; and 1 Peter 1:20.
The characteristic of the universe stated more frequently than any other in the Bible is its being “stretched out.” Five different Bible authors pen such a statement in eleven different verses: Job 9:8; Psalm 104:2; Isaiah 40:22; 42:5; 44:24; 45:12; 48:13; 51:13; Jeremiah 10:12; 51:15; and Zechariah 12:1. Job 37:18 appears to be a twelfth verse. However, the word used for “heavens” or “skies” is shehaqîm which refers to the clouds of fine particles (of water or dust) that are located in Earth’s atmosphere, not the shamayim, the heavens of the astronomical universe.9 Three of the eleven verses, Job 9:8; Isaiah 44:24; and 45:12 make the point that God alone was responsible for the cosmic stretching.
What is particularly interesting about the eleven verses is that different Hebrew verb forms are used to describe the cosmic stretching. Seven verses, Job 9:8; Psalm 104:2; Isaiah 40:22; 42:5; 44:24; 51:13; and Zechariah 12:1 employ the Qal active participle form of the verb natah. This form literally means “the stretcher out of them” (the heavens) and implies continual or ongoing stretching. Four verses, Isaiah 45:12; 48:13; and Jeremiah 10:12; 51:15 use the Qal perfect form. This form literally means that the stretching of the heavens was completed or finished some time ago.
That the Bible really does claim that the stretching out of the heavens is both “finished” and “ongoing” is made all the more evident in Isaiah 40:22. There we find two different verbs used in two different forms. In the first of the final two parallel poetic lines, “stretches out” is the verb natah in the Qal active participle form. In the second (final) line the verb “spreads them out” (NASB, NIV, NKJV) is mathah (used only this one time in the Old Testament) in the waw consecutive plus Qal imperfect form, so that literally we might translate it “and he has spread them out . . .” The participles in lines one and three of Isaiah 40:22 characterize our sovereign God by His actions in all times, sitting enthroned above the earth and stretching out the heavens, constantly exercising his creative power in His ongoing providential work. This characterization is continued with reference to the past by means of waw consecutive with the imperfect, the conversive form indicating God’s completed act of spreading out the heavens. That is, this one verse literally states that God is both continuing to stretch out the heavens and has stretched them out.
This simultaneously finished and ongoing aspect of cosmic stretching is identical to the big bang concept of cosmic expansion. According to the big bang, at the creation event all the physics (specifically, the laws, constants, and equations of physics) are instantly created, designed, and finished so as to guarantee an ongoing, continual expansion of the universe at exactly the right rates with respect to time so that physical life will be possible.
This biblical claim for simultaneously finished and ongoing acts of creation, incidentally, is not limited to just the universe’s expansion. The same claim, for example, is made for God’s laying Earth’s foundations (Isaiah 51:13; Zechariah 12:1). This is consistent with the geophysical discovery that certain long-lived radiometric elements were placed into the earth’s crust a little more than four billion years ago in just the right quantities so as to guarantee the continual building of continents.
Finally, the Bible indirectly argues for a big bang universe by stating that the laws of thermodynamics, gravity, and electromagnetism have universally operated throughout the universe since the cosmic creation event itself. In Romans 8 we are told that the entire creation has been subjected to the law of decay (the second law of thermodynamics). This law in the context of an expanding universe establishes that the cosmos was much hotter in the past. In Genesis 1 and in many places throughout Job, Psalms, and Proverbs we are informed that stars have existed since the early times of creation. As explained in two Reasons To Believe books,10 even the slightest changes in either the laws of gravity or electromagnetism would make stars impossible. As already noted in the accompanying article, gravity, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics yield stable orbits of planets around stars and of electrons around the nuclei of atoms only if they operate in a universe described by three very large rapidly expanding dimensions of space.
In conclusion, the Scriptures says God has put in the heart of man, a desire to know his works, yet man would not come to know completely all the works(discoveries etc) of God. Also, when it comes to making books, in general, there is no end and that too much studies or reading of books is a weary to the soul. The entire purpose of man is to fear God(The covenant God of Israel, the True God) and obey his commandments, meaning to repent, receive Christ as Lord and Personal Saviour, get Baptised and serve HIM through the knowledge and understanding of God and Jesus Christ whom HE sent.
