About ten years ago, these Muslims started similar program in Los Angels in the USA. The host of that program called himself Mark. He did not use Islamic name. They tried an Islamic TV station in a state in the U.S. It collapsed within months for lack of sensible things to say; very soon, it started sounding philosophical rather than religious or spiritual. The bearded men appearing on the show had nothing encouraging to say in the form of a prophet healing somebody, or resurrecting a dead person, or prophet challenging any of the people besieging a prostitute to cast the first stone if they considered themselves without sin.(As the beautiful Biblical account goes, the prostitute was saved by a veritably "peaceful" Prophet, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Marvelous Son of God). Aware that nobody would accept anything like: stone him, cut his/her hand for stealing, whip your wife when you need to, but not to the same extent as you would a slave (perhaps their "peacefulness" is shown in the slack they give in the whipping of wives as opposed to the whipping of slaves) - aware of the difficulty of finding anything preach-worthy from their holy book to their audience, they shut down the T.V. station, much to the agony of Satan. It's this book the poor children are going to recite in a competition, and in a language they don't speak or understand! A bewildered Arab friend once asked me: "Don't you have your own names in Africa? Why is every Muslim in Africa called by an Arabic name? That prostitute was brought to Jesus Christ and the religious teachers thought they could force Jesus Christ to condemned the woman based on Mosaic laws. Jesus Christ brought grace to those who believe. Being a grace himself and grace provider, he asked the woman's accusers that if anyone of you is without sin must be the first to cast a stone.
On the other hand, a pregnant woman was brought to Mohammed on allegation that she had committed adultery. Mohammed asked for a sword, and to everybody's surprise, Mohammed cut the pregnant woman into pieces. And these Muslim jihadists are going to tell Ghanaians that Mohammed was a merciful messenger.
