And I don't accept when a religious person tells an atheist to keep it to themselves. Christians and Muslims freely claim the right to preach to others as part of their religious obligations (such as what you see on buses in ghana with the silly preachers). Adam's sin and hence our sinful inheritance paved the way for death. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the WORD of God. It is this WORD of God who became flesh and dwelt among humanity, and HIS Glory was beheld as the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.
Your WORD of God is an expression of God HIMSELF; HIS very person(ality), in the same as your words are an expression of who you are. Infact, your character, by virtue of your words are integral part of your very person. You cannot dissociate your words from your very self.
Creation came into existence by the power of his WORD. Thus, all things came into existence by means of the WORD who is Christ. All things were created by means of HIM(Christ) and for HIM(Christ). The Father loves the Son and has given his Spirit unto HIM , without measure. He who has the Son has Life. He who does not have the Son, the wrath of God remains in HIM.
Christ is the image of the invisible God. Thus, seeing the Son is seeing God (An affirmation by Christ himself unto Phillip, the apostle, for whoever has seen the Son has seen the Father). Blessed are those who have not seen HIM(Christ) in the flesh, and yet believed. The believing in Gospels provokes a desire to study the WORD of God, for Christ is the one who gives us the understanding of God.
The Son is the POWER of God. The Son is the WISDOM of God.
The Father executes his promises for humanity by means of HIS Son, so that the Father may be Glorified in the Son, for all the promises of God are Ye and Amen through Christ Jesus.
Knowing the Son is knowing God, for it is the Son who reveals the Father to anyone whom HE(the Son) pleases.
The fullness of God dwells in Christ. In other words, in him, Christ Jesus, resides the complete nature of God, And God reveals HIMSELF in and through Christ.
There is one God and one Lord, the same Lord who is Lord over all. One cannot by-pass the Son to know God, for whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father.
God has so desired that you cannot talk about him fully, without talking about Christ. Infact, it is Christ who is presented to the individual(Salvation), and it is Christ, the Son, who would have to reveal the Father to the individual.
The Holy Spirit points to Christ, for the Spirit does not speak of himself, but convicts(among other works) people unto repentance for Christ to save them. The Son in turn reveals the Father to the individual. All these are done in the Life of the individual as he desired to walk steadfastly in love and in obedience to Christ Jesus.
Whoever, wants to know God, God would allow himself to be known by the individual. HE does so by the power of the Holy Ghost, the convicting power of the Holy Ghost brings the individual to Christ, before the person is acknowledged by God as a HIS child.
Jesus says "No one comes to the Son, except the Father draws that person to HIM(Christ)". Once again, the Father accomplishes that by the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, to the extend that the individual acknowledges the Salvation of God through Christ.
Ladies and gentlemen, seek Christ, desire to know God, and HE would allow himself to be known by you, through Christ.
We are all not children of God. According to God's definition, as many that believes in the Son of God(washed and cleansed by the atoning power of the blood of Jesus Christ) are the children of God. We become adopted children of God, in the eyes of the Father(See Isaiah 53, concerning to the Prophecy about how the atonement of Christ qualifies humanity to become adopted Children of God)
This is the Truth which the Son of God has come down from heaven to testify of and fulfilled it. Let no one deceive you, otherwise. And let no one present to you a Jesus different one, who atoned for the sins of humanity.
It all depends whether, you acknowledge that God is a covenant God, and that He covenanted with Abraham, promising him that, by means if him, the whole world would be blessed. Jesus Christ who came through that lineage- Isaac, Jacob(Israel)... says Salvation is of the Jew.
