I believe he fears that a strict stance by the Catholic Church against gay rights may cost the Church valuable membership and hence he wants to keep his followers rather than lose them to rival churches that readily accept gay rights. It is a shame if the gospel of Christ is so easily compromised in order to please people!!!

I have already giving the bible in summary a diagram form to guide serious christians of their expectations. Now they are talking about power. The book of corinthians listed Jesus Christ as the power of God, and this can further be explained.
God's Love which is synonymous to grace is the nature of THE LORD GOD, which Jesus Christ on earth demonstrated to his disciples as written in the bible.
Power which originated from the father God Almighty was exibited in Christ Jesus when he was walking "nupea" on earth. Thus making faith,word, endurance and wisdom the power of Jesus Christ.
The glory of the Lord is show in the books of John revealing Christ Jesus as the only way to the kingdom of God and through his bloodshed we have automatic cleansing of sins from yesterday,today and future.His followers assembles in getherings to worship him for his glory and power which goes together in unity.
Salvation comes in to incorporate human beings under his abode, in a sense his glory and power.Our response is to accept what we heard and try to live that love and grace that is giving, which is not easy to achieve because of the nature of the world live in.

Therefore, we do not have to do anything to support it. There is no way we have to find a new ballance in encouraging what is deemed as abormination to the Lord. Where is the Pope taking us to? The idea of reaching out to non-Catholics by means of compromise is an ancient methodlogy the church has used successfully in her history. Such was the case when Rome transferred the sacredness of the sabbath to Sunday during the 4th century AD, and then manged to get the pagans who worship the sun-god on Sunday, to worship with the church on Sunday.

Have you forgotten that Obama and Gordon Brown are the foremost preachers of this nonsense about gay rights and how they have decided to tie western aid to 3rd world countries to the acceptance of gay rights by such countries?
Therefore, if Pope Francis' hand has been forced by such global forces to accept this rotten gospel of gay rights and he is now trying hard to find space in Catholicism for this gay rights gospel, can we blame people of the third world for this turn of events? In case you care to know, people of the so-called third world are the most resistant to the rotten gospel of gay rights. If you hate people of the third world, then look for a better reason to put them down than using the issue of gay rights because they are the only hope of the church on this issue.

If the Pope thinks he does not qualify to judge right from wrong from the standpoint of the Bible, then he and his priests should stop preaching the gospel of Christ altogether. The sermons they deliver to us each Sunday or at Mass Services are all moral judgments of our behavior from the Bible standpoint. They judge our behavior and admonish us in each of these sermons not to commit murders, adulteries, fornications etc. all because the Bible forbids all such morally wrongful behavior. If now, the Pope thinks they, the clergy, can no longer judge us or admonish us or give direction to us on what is right as against what is wrong from the Bible standpoint, then they (the clergy) have lost their moral right to be religious leaders. Of course, no one can judge whether or not any person can make it to Heaven at the end of his life. That judgment is to be done by God alone. However, I can say (or judge) without any shadow of a doubt that the gospel of Christ is anti-gay and anti-lesbian rights. Based on the Bible, I can judge that murderers, adulterers, gays and lesbians are despicable people before God and hence the need for them to repent and follow the right path.
Perhaps, as an African historian, I should not be surprised. The Catholic Church, into which I was born, seems to be too ready to join what is popular with the people of any age. During the days of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, the Catholic Church had a share in the profits of this ignoble trade. The salvation of the souls of Africans was none of the concerns of the Church back then. I believe a century or two from today, history will judge Pope Francis and his ilk for refusing to stand by the time honoured Bible principles.

We have the creative ability to create in the physical arena under His guidance.Interesting enough He created male and female of all kinds and put a tree of Good/Evil and that of Life in the same garden with instructions to comply with. God who knows the end of everything from the beginning should have had control of everything to go according to His plan. Did He forget that His anointed Cherub Lucifer who was in-charge of the former world was still around and could interfere with his new establishment but He did not stop it. It appears to me God has allowed the authority given to Adam to go to Lucifer whom we now call Satan and he has been our examiner and tempter on earth to these days. In the Psalm we read that he is the ruler of the earth and Yeshuah the Messiah whom we now call Jesus because the Jews would not allow Him as King also confirmed it when He was about to be tempted by Satan. We Christians are neither cold or hot instead we are lukewarm and what does the bible say about such people. If we go back to the old testament you see prophets that God worked with were married sometimes to more than one woman but God did not say it was wrong in His sight. Now people in some churches like the catholic church decide to remain single; both sexes so that they can carry on properly with God's work. That is actually contrary to why God created Eve and as some could not keep to that they started abusing young boys and the women girls in a form of masturbation to satisfy the sexual curiosities. The result is deadly diseases into the society. Church Pastors who know the Bible so well have corrupted the Bible just as Satan did. I think you should come out boldly to say that the lake of Fire is first for Satan and those who are corrupting his Words but we need to pray to God to show as a sign now.They need to be wiped out from among God's children as it was narrated for Sodom and Gomorrah. Things happening on earth are exactly what was narrated in the Ten commandments.We are really faced with principalities and powers and the Holy Spirit is at war indeed. A pastor died in a car accident and came back to life at a crusade held by Evangelist Bonke in Port Harcout and has recorded a video to educate us on what he saw in the spiritual world.Interesting enough he saw pastors suffering in the spirit continuously and he was asked to go and pay back monies he has taken from people in God's name for his well being.You must have experienced your spirit going into the spiritual world and being shown what to do on earth just as in the case of John in the Revelation. Please be bold and hot without fear or favour to let our politicians and church leaders sit up. God will not destroy the world He has created and found good but we shall destroy it ourselves with our jealous caretaker Satan.
