so far as ones place or country of birth, the environment in which you lived, the limitations and unexpected developments characterising ones mental range of ability is concerned, it cannot be wholly accepted that what we get or become is a result of ones past in this lifetime. Unless of course, reincarnation matters here. I make this assertion on the basis that certain people, depending on where they were born may be privileged to commit less sin or do more good, and thereby reap good returns. Some evil persons are by their nature, maybe because evil must have a role(prov.16vrs4) Remember the fruit of tree of the knowledge of good and evil which we all ate through Adam. I believe that sometimes we happen to be somewhere to enable something to happen in a way that seems mystical.

"Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep" (John 10:7-15).

Do not think of tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself. consider the birds of the sky, they plough not,yet they are taken care of by the day, how much more about you. No child ask bread of the father and is given stone. Shana, even the churches think of tomorrow, they watch their members starve whilst they bank millions in their account in anticipation of tomorrow. There are no sheep on earth today for Jesus to shepherd cos none has faith of the size of a mustard seed. The sheep are scattered cos those who stood in the masters shoes are slaughtering the sheep in their numbers for their own enjoyment. the xtian message is become a subject of manipulation and exploitation cos we are lost in interpretation of what jesus truelly meant noble as it sounds. Its become so difficult to defend one religion as the true one without being a blind adherent to ones beliefs. I therefore believe that the safest side is to borrow every good spade from anywhere for your garden. All kinds or manners of gardens can only emanate from one earth. God Has never lost control of the universe He created. To all manner of people, He gave a belief, and it is no wrong to abandon one to adopt another to further your course.

It is erroneous to say that the religious practices of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac and Moses are entirely different from what Jesus taught.
Jesus came to fulfill what was in the OT.
All the Patriarchs prophesied about the coming of Christ. Indeed, what inspires prophesying is to the bearing witness to Christ Jesus.
Moses provided the Law, and the Jewish worship of the True God was centered on the Law through the inspiration and direction of the subsequent Jewish Prophets, all in preparation towards the coming of Christ who was tO come and atone for the sins of humanity, so that we(non Jews, also) may be reconciled back to God.
The sacrifice of Jesus Christ ends all sacrifices.(1st Corinth 10:20)
Jesus himself is the WORD of God who existed in the very beginning. And it was by means of Jesus Christ that all things came into existence(creation).
Jesus Christ is more than a Prophet; He is the SON of God through whom all things were created.
Everything pertaining to godliness is in the Scriptures; the very Scriptures (OT) that Christ himself quoted from and made reference to the Prophetic writings!
Prior to the coming of Christ, God (the covenant God of Israel had given a glimpse of who he was and is to the nations through the Jewish Prophets and faithful Jews.
Notably the Prophet Daniel made known to the kings of Babylon(Iraq) and Medo Persis(Iran) about who the True God is. Neymann of Syria acknowledged that there is no God other than the God of Israel.
In every religion there is an element of Truth hybridized with falsehood and that is deception. Showing love, kindness, doing good etc are some of the elements in all religions. However, non of then gives a clue to the fact that Salvation is in Christ.
God has commanded that Jesus Christ is his SON, and we are to listen to him(check the transfiguration in the Bible)
The Jewish Scriptures reveals the nature of man and his alienation from the creator because of sin, the wages Of which leads to death.
God's promise to Abraham on mountain Moriah, saying "By means of you (Abraham) the whole world would be blessed" came to pass through Christ, in that, mankind has been reconciled to God. We are to receive this promise of God through obedience in Christ.
If you can take a look into the mirror of God(the Scriptures) and acknowledge that indeed you cannot save yourself and that your so called goodness etc are like filthy rags before God(according to the Scriptures) and that you need the Saviour, who is Christ Jesus, you will be given the authority to become the Child of God.
You have to know that even in the East where Zoroaster was from, there were people who acknowledged that the king had been born and they traveled all the way to Jerusalem to behold the new born King.
Remember that there were Jews in Medo Persia(the East) who acknowledged the Prophetic Ministry of Daniel, the Prophet.
A legacy of the knowledge of God had been left in that part of the world concerning the fact that a star would rise up Jacob(see the book of Numbers).
Ladies and gentlemen, there is one Faith(in Christ) and one Baptism (Christ).
This is Eternal Life, that they may know the one True God and the one whom you sent.
Make sure you are baptized(by immersion) in Christ.
