Per an article in last week's daily graphic, government is owing ECG $400,000.If this is true then why have we decided to pay for men of God who we know can afford these trips on their own to go on a pilgrimage? Misplaced priorities or just plain old greed and wickedness? I will really like to see those men of God who will actually take part in this. Let's think about the long term benefit i.e. spiritual benefit not the cost or our stomachs and convenience. There is more to life than the physical aspect.
If that money was used to bring electricity to even ONE rural area, we would see more returns on the investment than if it was wasted on this trip.
