So we see here that Jesus praises those who choose celibacy as a way of life for the love of the Kingdom, however He recognises that this is a special vocation and grace for some not all.

By the way when you look at it, it is not because priests are not married that some of them are pedophiles. It is just a deviation which all well meaning people condemn. And the Catholic Church has more priests than any of the Orthodox Christian Churches. Though not a Doctrine and can be changed, it is a discipline which is very practical in that the priest without family worries can dedicate his life to all and sundry and to do his ministry wholeheartedly.

Jesus himself was married to Mary Magdalene as supported by the Nag Hammadi manuscripts. More so Mary Magdelene was most certainly one of his disciples. Not the 'whore' that the Vatican has turned her into.
Jesus was very pro-family, very pro-community. On this note though, he did not have a bad thing to say about gay people or women. He preached love and compassion. Not fear or hate.
