Mpohor MP aspirant supports district with PPEs to combat COVID-19

John Sanie, a Parliamentary Candidate aspirant for the NPP in the Mpohor Constituency, has donated some PPE and other valuable items to the Mpohor District Health Directorate, as part of his contribution to help the district combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The items, worth over GHS60,000, comprises; 110 pieces of Veronica buckets, 110 pieces of handwashing bowls, 30 pieces of 5 litres liquid soap, 96 pieces of 200ml liquid soap, 96 pieces of 200ml hand sanitizers, 10 pieces of 5 litres hand sanitizers, 500 pieces of face mask, 110 pieces of paper tissues, 3 pieces of infrared temperature guns, and 300 pieces of surgical gloves.

Mrs. Mina Duah, Mpohor District Director of Health, expressed gratitude to Mr.John Sanie and his team, for the donation, which she said was a timely intervention that will support the district's preparedness to tackle the pandemic effectively.

She said the items will be distributed amongst all the thirteen electoral areas within the Mpohor district, as well as CHPS facilities.

John Sanie and his team also presented additional PPE to communities, chiefs, assembly members, opinion leaders, and polling station executives in all the communities in the Mpohor district.

In a short speech, John Sanie advised the people to observe safety rules, and adhere to all the approved protocol measures, saying "together we can eradicate this deadly virus from our beloved country ".

The chiefs and people in all the communities praised the intervention, which they said "comes after an initial donation of some 300 hand sanitizers and antiseptic soaps by John Sanie to NPP polling station executives and delegates within the Mpohor district.
