Akyawkrom Assemblyman donates to community

Dr. Adu Gyamfi, Assembly Member for Akyawkrom Electoral Area in the Ejisu Municipality, has donated a number of items to help support the community in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

The items, which included Veronica buckets, alcohol based hand sanitizers, soaps and tissue papers are to be placed at vantage points in the community for use by the people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Adu Gyamfi said he was teaming up with the traditional leaders and Unit Committee members to help in the fight against the spread of the disease in the community.

He commended the Municipal Health Response Team for the initiative taken to contain the spread of the virus in the area and appealed to the people to take preventive measures outlined by health authorities seriously to avoid contracting the disease.

Dr. Adu Gyamfi appealed to well-to-do individuals in the community to also help provide support to the people to prevent the spread of the disease in the area.

He pledged his continuous support to help improve quality health delivery system in the area.
