Nsaba Secondary school dinning hall roof ripped off

Agona Nsaba, (C/R) April 29, GNA- A severe rain storm which hit Agona Nsaba and its surrounding villages has ripped off the roofs of the secondary school's dinning hall and Presbyterian Primary school block. Speaking to the GNA at Agona Nsaba on Thursday in an interview, Mr Vincent Arhin- Hayford, Assistant Headmaster, Administration appealed to National Disaster Management Organisation(NADMO) to help the school to roof the damaged dinning hall.

Mr Arhin-Hayford noted that the problem is very serious because the school would re-open next week, May 7, 2005 and the students would not have place to take their food.

He said about five years ago, a dinning hall project was started and financed by Public Investment Project(PIP) but it has been abandoned and the school was using temporary structures that belonged to Central Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Arhin-Hayford therefore appealed to the Agona District Assembly, Ghana Education Service (GES) and Non governmental Organisations to come to the aid of the school.
