Asante-Akim Central MP donates to the Church of Pentecost

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Asante-Akim Central Constituency, Lawyer Kwame Anyimadu Antwi has donated ten (10) dustbins to the Church of Pentecost, Konongo Area.

Mr. Felix Amakye, the Asante-Akim Central Constituency Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party made this donation on behalf of the MP.

The donation was made in support of the Church's Environmental Care Campaign.

The dustbins come weeks after the MP had donated other items such as brooms, wheelbarrows, hand gloves at the launch of the Konongo Area Environmental Care Campaign which was followed by a massive clean-up exercise in the principal streets of the Konongo township.

Speaking on behalf of the Member of Parliament, Mr. Felix Amakye indicated the support of the office of the Member of Parliament towards seeing to a clean Konongo-Odumasi township, the Constituency and Municipality at large.

Pastor James K. Boadi, Resident Minister of CoP Konongo District received the donations on behalf of the Area Head and the Church of Pentecost.

He, therefore, seized the opportunity to pray hard for the MP for the kind gesture and expressed his profound appreciation to the MP and also called on other benevolent organizations to learn from the MP.

Also present were some ministers in the Konongo Zone.
