She promised to provide a midwife to assist pre- and post-Natal care since the people travel tens of kilometres to the nearby health centre at Shama.

The Chief of Botodwina, in a speech read for him thanked the President and DCE for the project and promised his support for the government and commended the DCE for his exemplary performance in his one-year administration.

In other development, the DCE handed over a Mechanised Bole Hole constructed this year through the Minerals Development Fund (M.D.F.) to the people of ADA, a cocoa farming community also in the Mpohor District.

In a short ceremony with the opinion leaders at the community, the DCE advised the people to take care of the facility for it is the vision of the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to provide good clean drinking water to all deprived communities in the District.
