Vehicle runs into market women in Kumasi killing four

Reports reaching www.ghanaweb.com indicates that two more traders at Anloga Onions market in kumasi have died following a Toyota Camry car that crushed into them Tuesday morning.

They are Hassana and another who is yet to be identified. She is said to have arrived at the market to buy some items when the incident occurred.

Another two victims are currently receiving treatment at the Manhyia Government Hospital and Anwiam clinic at Aboabo following Thursday's incident that left six people seriously injured at market

One of the deceased, known as Barkisu has since been buried at the old tafo cemetery Tuesday.

Activities at the market have become slow due to the sad incident.

Police are yet to issue a statement on the matter.

Oforikrom police in whose jurisdiction the incident occurred refused to speak on the matter claiming, there aren't in position to speak to the facts.

Meanwhile, the Toyota Camry with registration number GC 934-13 has been towed to the police station.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
