Apsonic Motors donates to Tamale Police

The Apsonic Motor Company Limited, has donated some items to the Northern Regional Police Command to improve visibility duties and boost the morale of the service.

The items include, 130 raincoat, 200 reflected jackets and 20 pieces of an umbrella.

Presenting the items to the Northern Regional Police Commander DCOP Timothy Yoosa Bonga on behalf of the Ghana Police Service, Friday, the General Manager of Apsonic Company Limited, Alhaji Abdul Rashid Adam said, the donation forms part of the company’s corporate responsibility to support the police to continue to maintain law and order in the region.

Alhaji Adam said the company and the Ghana Police had a very good relationship thus the donation will further enhance their cordial relationship. “We are business people… we are good friends to the police, we believe in Ghana Police and have so much confidence in them…. And we know that they can help us a lot to do our business without fear… ”.

The Apsonic Motors Manager said, the rain coat will help the police not to compromise security especially during this raining season while the umbrellas will provide shade for the gallant men and women of the service who are always standing in the scorching sun maintaining order.

The Northern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Timothy Yoosa Bonga thanked the Apsonic Motor Company for the wonderful gesture, saying that, the items will go a long way to enhance their visibility duties in the region.

He said, the donation came at the right “as we all know we in the raining season….our men who perform on visibility duties on vantage point do not have a good shelter so with the provision of support of the umbrellas will go long way to ensure that our men on such duties are very effective whether rain or no rain their duties will never be compromised … the reflectors too are very important particularly in the night when we are on duty this is what tells the public that… yes we are police officers …

The Northern Regional Police Commander, therefore, made a passionate appeal to other individuals and organizations to support the Ghana police to provide the best expertise of the service.

The General Manager of Apsonic Company Limited, Alhaji Abdul Rashid Adam was accompanied by one Managers of the company Mr. Wen Jiaping.
