The people of Boankra, a community in the Ejisu Constituency, Ashanti region, can now breathe a sigh of relief as the water crisis they have been experiencing for some time now, would no longer exist.

This is as a result of the restoration of their borehole by Mr. John Kumah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP).

At the request of the community, the CEO of NEIP offered to help fix the borehole in the community which is a source of water to several people. The borehole which is now functional would provide water to about 500 people, hitherto, struggled to access portable water.

A brief ceremony was held, at which the borehole was opened to use, the assemblyman, Hon Kwaku Obeng Hwereso Boankra and some elders of the community were grateful for Mr. John Kumah for coming to their aid.

Mr. John Kumah, reiterated his passion to help communities grow as part of his social responsibility, he pledged to do more for communities that would call on him to assist.

In a related development, he donated 100 bags of cement to support the Makarata School in the Ejisu Zongo Community, which is currently under construction and also made donations to aid the Ramadan fast of Muslims in the Ejisu Constituency.
