Tipper truck kills 2 in Kumasi

Two women, a market woman and a student at the St Loius College of Education, have been killed after a tipper truck with registration number AS 9817 loaded with several bags of cement run into them at Race Course, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

Eye witnesses say the truck run into the women at a market near the St Louis College of Education in Kumasi.

The accident occurred on Monday August 7.

Accra news’ Elisha Adarkwa subsequently reported on Monday that the accident was caused by brake failure. The other injured were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospitals for medical attention.
