Share your experiences with those still working -Manager

Kumasi, March 17, GNA - Mr Dave Anane Druyeh, Ashanti Regional Manager of the Catholic Education Unit has suggested to senior citizens to share their rich experiences with the young ones still working. He noted that through regular visits, meetings and interactions with people still in active service, they would be able to exchange ideas and share their experiences to bear on them to improve upon productivity to accelerate the pace of development of the country. Mr Druyeh made the suggestion when the education unit feted four retired employees of the unit in Kumasi on Friday who retired last year. They were Mr Opoku Gyambibi, Mr Joseph Anderson, Mr Mathew Adusei and Nana Okofo Asenso.

He however, asked the pensioners not to regret for retiring since retirement was a stage in life, which enabled anybody, who had worked for a period of time to rest, adding that nobody can cheat nature since overworking oneself could shorten his or her life.

Mr Druyeh called on people still in active service to make very good use of that period so as to leave very good footprints for others to emulate.

He disclosed that the Ashanti Regional office of the education unit will as from this year start honouring retired workers of the unit to serve as motivation for those still in active service.
