‘Mad Man’ on rampage, butchers 4

Four persons are currently nursing machete wounds at Abrepo Junction a suburb of the Kumasi Metropolis after a mentally deranged person attacked them.

Isakah Daniel believed to be in his mid 30s, was reported to have attacked his unprovoked victims for what is yet to be uncovered and in the ensuing melee was nearly lynched by onlookers but for the timely intervention of the police.

The fourth person however mustered courage and dispossessed him of the cutlass on Tuesday Morning.

According to Police, Isakah Daniel was under treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for his condition after being referred from the North Suntreso government hospital.

He was reported to have attacked the security men manning his ward and left the facility only to be spotted attacking residents later that morning.

He has since been subdued and handed over to authorities at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital while the injured have since been treated and discharged.
