RECT Academy receives excellence award in education

The school’s achievements in the past year include its best student scoring 550 out of 600. In 2006 out of 32,000 basic schools RECT Academy came top in the first Ayekoo Awards, which was hosted by Kwami Sefa Kayi. The school since been at the top or amongst the best 3 private schools in terms of academics.

RECT Academy, located at Kwashiebu near Santa Maria, has for the past decades provided a caring, friendly environment where the needs of the individual learner are recognized.

Most students from RECT Academy have excelled in the senior secondary school and tertiary institutions, and awarded scholarships. Some past students of RECT academy who won the best students award (private schools) include
Gifty Kyeremeh-who completed Wesley Girls and is currently at the university of Ghana pursuing medicine; and Sandra Sackey at Wesley Girls.

Other beneficiaries of best student awards Abraham Ofori Kuragu - currently at Opoku-Ware, and Philip Kwarteng Marfo-presently at PRESEC, Legon.

RECT Academy enrolls children from 6months throughout the academic year. The school offers an outstanding recognized curriculum and aims to attract the best teachers who model to their students a love of learning. The vision of the school is to be the top grade A private basic level bilingual school where pupils will be proficient in English, French and ICT.

Since the Junior Secondary School /Junior High School was introduced in the school, Rect Academy has not only produced excellent results in the BECE but also amazing graduates who have moved on to greater heights and achievements.
