The Royal Bank as part of their corporate social responsibility has donated a set of office furniture and equipments to the College of heath and Allied sciences of the University of Cape Coast Sports and Exercise Department.

The list of items donated to the department included four leather visitors chair, a lamination, office desks, binding machines, a computer, USB printers, UPS, cabinets, etc.

The donation went through the The Royal Bank Foundation, which is the corporation social responsibility wing of the institution.

The donation followed an urgent call on the bank to support the schools newly created department with some office equipment.

The bank being a direct beneficiary university graduate is committed to the development of education in the country.

Deen of School of Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Moses Jojo Eghan who received the items on behave of the school, stated that the Sports and Exercise Department of the university is the first of its kind in the country and it is set up to offer assistance to sports men and women and also to beef up the discipline through it comprehensive course in sports medicine.

The department be will rolling its first badge of students in September 2017.

The event took place at the Banks headquarters located a Shiasi. Although young, The Royal Bank has attained greater feet the banking industry through the services it renders to its customers.
