The Ghana National Union Of Technical Students has condemned the unfortunate brutalities unleashed on students of the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) by some police officers Tuesday, which resulted in the hospitalization of fifteen (15) students with others sustaining various degrees of injuries.

Describing the conduct of the police officers as “unprofessional”, GNUTS, has threatened to wage relentless protest until justice is served.

“The victims should be rest assured that this matter will not fizzle out un-investigated and without naming and shaming.

We shall officially petition the IGP, Ministry of Education, CHRAJ, and other bodies to institute probe into this matter”, the union said in a statement copied to Ghanaweb.com.
