Western Region NDC suspends Francis Arthur.

Takoradi, Jan. 30 GNA- The Western Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended indefinitely, Mr. Francis Arthur, the Prestea Huni-Valley constituency chairman of the party for indiscipline and gross dereliction of duty.

This was contained in a press release issued on Friday January 30 and signed by Mr. John K. Ahinkorah, the Regional Secretary of the party. The release said Mr. Arthur's display of gross negligence in his duty "is against the norms and ethics of the party".

The release further directed him to hand over all party property in his possession to the constituency vice chairman.
