A woman to challenge Lawyer Aidoo for Tema West seat

Tema, Jan. 21, GNA - A Tema-based retired educationist has declared her intention to contest the Tema West Constituency seat to wrestle it from Mr Abraham Ossei Aidoo, the sitting Member of Parliament (MP) in the forth coming parliamentary elections.

Madam Ayele Bonnie Ajavon who is currently the manageress of "Kasebon Mode Limited" dealers in textiles and fashion designers clothes made her plan known at a New Patriotic Party constituency meeting at Tema on Sunday. The retired educationist received applause from her supporters when Mr Francis Tuyee, a leading member of the party, introduced her to the gathering.

Constituency members from BBC, Lashibi, Sakumono, community five, J Conty, Italians flats and Otanor attended the meeting. Madam Ajavon called for support from members to enable her to win massively and promised not to neglect them when voted into power. She said "when you help me to win I will not turn against you, rather with your support I would organise the unemployed for training in various vocations to acquire skills to be self sufficient".
