Nanna represents western region in the virtuous woman pageant.

Kareena Amoah also known as Nanna has been selected to represent the Western Region in the on-going reality show, The Virtuous Woman. The Virtuous Woman reality show is a beauty contest which provides an avenue for ten beautiful ladies from the various regions of the country to showcase their beauty, virtue, intelligence and culture. The Western Region representative, 24 year old Kareena Amoah also known as Nanna, is a dynamic, goal-driven and fun-filled individual who is very confident in clinching the crown. Nanna comes from a family of six and she presently works with Western Rural Bank in the Western Region. Nanna is passionate about charity work and giving back to the less privileged “I hope to establish an NGO to help deprived children because I know how it feels not to have,” she said. Touching on her aspiration in life, Nanna dreams of becoming an influential business lawyer. In addition, she hopes to own a beauty parlour where she plans to train young people particularly school drop outs for free. Speaking on what inspired her to enter into the competition and represent her region; Nanna indicates that the intensifying rate of teenage pregnancy in her region is alarming and a large section of the youth engage in illegal mining to the detriment of their education.

In view of this, she believes The Virtuous Woman reality show will afford her the essential platform not to only showcase her beauty, culture and brain power but it will be a launching pad for her to engage in various projects beneficial to the youth in the Western Region. If she is crowned as The Virtuous Woman, Nanna plans to embark on The Second Chance Project after she completes the official year long project of the contest dubbed, Prison Back to Life Projects. With respect to The Second Chance Project, she will focus on teenage girls who have given birth and dropped out of school. She hopes to create avenues, implement programs and financial strategies to help such girls to go back to school or engage in vocational training.

According to Nanna, being in the reality show affords her the foothold to extend the frontiers of her knowledge and provides her depth in her cognitive perspective and useful insights from which she can engage her immediate surrounding and the world at large.

Throwing light on what makes her outstanding in the competition; Nanna is optimistic that she is well-rounded, morally conscious, a good communicator and culturally inclined.

According to her, she comes from a humble home and her good upbringing has contributed in making her an epitome of virtue.

She believes that all these qualities give her a notch above her fellow contestants in the race for The Virtuous Woman crown.

The Virtuous Woman reality show is a platform to educate the public that true beauty is from within. Viewers are given the opportunity to vote for their favourite contestants.
