Thirteen communities to get portable water

Kraboa Coaltar (E/R), July 10, GNA - Thirteen communities in the Ayensuano constituency in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District are to benefit from a 16-million-cedi rural water project.

They are Teacher Mante, Kwadjo Fosu, Dokrokyiwa, La-Mangoase, Asuboi, Aforo Adjei and Marfokrom.

The rest are, Aburi Amanfrom, Teteku, Otomfo Memeso, Oboase Wawase, Mensakrom and Corinakrom.

Mr Godfred Otchere, Member of Parliament for the area, told the GNA that the money was released from his share of the Mps Common Fund. He called on the communities not to do politics with the project but to contribute their quota towards its execution.

The MP also released 15 million cedis to support the Coaltar community's health project under the Social Investment Fund (SIF) being undertaken in the town.

Mr Emmanuel Ohene Bekoe, Assemblyman for Coaltar thanked the MP and called on the people to contribute to the development of the area.
