Nabdam ST. Johns SHS set ablaze by students

Angry students of the ST Johns Senior High School in Nabdam in the Upper West region have reportedly set their Administration block ablaze.

The students, according to our sources, were angered by the decision of their school authorities not to allow most of them sit for next year's WASSCE.

Reports say security presence has been beefed up at the school.

Local reporters add that the students' action was triggered by a caveat by the school head that only students who were able to pass a mock examinations being organised by the school will be allowed to sit for the main WASSCE examinations in view of their previous poor performances.
