Mr Benjamin Anhwere Kaakyire, Adansi South District Chief Executive, has called on parents and guardians to ensure the proper education of their wards to guarantee the sustainable development of the area.

“I want to urge the communities to ensure that their children attend school to guarantee a better future for their children, communities and the District for the eventual benefit of the nation,” he said.

The projects which were funded by the Assembly with funds from the District’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund and District Development Fund valued at GH¢225.000.

He said under the better Ghana Agenda chapter two, Ghanaians would see massive infrastructural development, especially in the rural communities.

The District Chief Executive expressed concern about the emergence of fire outbreaks in the country and warned against smoking of cigarettes in farms and hunting in the area, which precipitates such disasters.

“Please, let us be careful about attitudes and behaviours that could bring fire disasters both at home and in the bush,” Mr Anhwere – Kaakyire stressed.

Mr Raphael Adjei, District Director of Education appealed to the communities that benefited from the educational facilities to ensure proper maintenance.

He slammed community members who break into school offices and classrooms to steal teaching and learning materials.
