A member of the NDC National Communication Team and Deputy CEO of the Minerals Commission, Emmanuel Kwamena Anyimah, popularly known as Ellembelle KK, has called on all aspirants contesting various positions in the upcoming NDC Regional Elections to conduct clean and issue-based campaigns.
The NDC Regional Elections are scheduled for November 14, 2026, across the country.
Speaking on UTV's Morning Show on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Ellembelle KK said the party must protect its unity as it prepares for the elections.
"Our internal elections are a family affair. We should not use insults, lies and personal attacks against each other because of positions. We are one NDC family, and after November 14, we will need each and everyone to work for victory in 2028," he stated.
He said the regional elections should be conducted peacefully, adding that the conduct of members during the internal polls should reflect the party's commitment to discipline and unity ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Anyimah reminded the aspirants that the 2028 general elections should remain their primary concern and urged them to manage their campaign messages responsibly.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate the newly elected constituency executives, particularly those in the Ellembelle Constituency, and charged them to work harder to retain the party's parliamentary seat and increase its vote share in the 2028 general elections.
